Jurisdiction of Dowry Prohibition Officer.- The Dowry Prohibition Officer shall exercise jurisdiction and powers under sub -section (1) of section 8 -B of the Act in such area as may be specified by the Government by notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.     |
