Electrocution: The typical method of electrocution is using the electric chair, a prisoner is strapped to a specially built chair, his head and body is shaved for better contact of electrodes. High voltage current of 200 wt. is passed. The prisoner usually leaps forward against the restraints when the switch is turned on. The body changes color and swells. The prisoner often defecate, urinate and vomit blood. The electric chair was first used in New York as hanging was thought to be inhumane and outdated.
