Report No. 42 120. Substitution of new section for section 309.- For section 309 of the Code, the following section shall be substituted, namely.- "309. Driving member of family to suicide.- Whoever, by persistent acts of cruelty, drives a member of his family living with him to commit suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, and shall also be liable to fine."    |
