6. Objects of University.- The objects of the University shall be to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to make provisions for integrated courses in the humanities, the social sciences, the basic and applied science and technology in the educational programmes of the University; to take appropriate measures for promoting innovations in teaching-learning process, interdisciplinary and professional studies and research, removal of gender disparities and the digital divide, and the application of knowledge to social advancement, national progress and human welfare; and to educate and train human resource for the development of the country.    |
