University Grants Commission Act 1956 24. Penalties. Whoever contravenes the provisions of section 22 or section 23 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, and if the person contravening is an association or other 112-A body of individuals, every member of such association or other body who knowingly or wilfully authorizes or permits the contravention shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.    |
