Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 1.Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. (2) It extents to the whole of India . (3) It shall come into force on such date ( 20th February, 1957 , vide S.R.O.528, dated the 16th February, see Gazette of India , Extraordinary, 1957, part II, Sec, p.549.} as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.    |
