The Rubber Act, 1947 Act No. 24 of 1947 [18th April, 1947.] An Act to provide for the development 2[under the control of the Union] of the rubber industry 3***. WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the development 2[under the control of the Union] of the rubber industry 3***; It is hereby enacted as follows: 1. The Act has been extended to Pondicherry on 1-10-1963 vide Reg. 7 of 1963, s. 3 and the First Schedule and to Dadra and Nagar Haveli (w.e.f. 1-7-1965) by Reg. 6 of 1963, s. 2 and First Schedule. 2. Subs. by Act 54 of 1954, s. 2, for "under central control" (w.e.f. 1-8-1955). 3. The words "so far as regards the production and marketing of rubber, and: for regulating export and import of rubber" omitted by s. 2, ibid. (w.e.f. 1-8-1955).    |
