Railways Act, 1989 196. Power to exempt railway from Act. (1) The Central Government may, by notification, exempt any railway from all or any of the provisions of this Act. (2) Every notification issued under sub-section (1) shall be laid as soon as may be after it is issued before each House of Parliament.    |
