Press Council Act, 1978 27.Amendment of Act 25 of 1867.- In sub-section (1) of Section 8c of the Press and registration of Books Act, 1867 for the words "consisting of a chairman and another member to be appointed by the central government' the words and figures "consisting of a chairman and another member to be nominated by the Press council of India established under section 4 of the Press council Act 1978 from among its members" shall be substituted.    |
