10. Librarian (1) The Librarian shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose and he shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University. (2) The Librarian shall exercise such powers and perform such duties and shall have such emoluments, terms and conditions of service as may be prescribed by the Executive Council.    |
