155. Supply of drinking water. (1) Every Nagar Panchayat or as the case may be, the Council shall provide or arrange for the provision of a sufficient supply of drinking water for the inhabitants of the areas within its jurisdiction. (2) Every Nagar Panchayat or as the case may be, the Council shall provide sufficient and regular supply of drinking water fit for human consumption or for domestic purposes within the jurisdiction of the Nagar Panchayat or of the Council.    |
