(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of the principal Act, as amended by the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2017, the Central Government may, by order, published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as amended by the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2017, or the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971, as amended by the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2017, as may appear to be necessary for removing the difficulty: Provided that no such order shall be made under this section after the expiry of two years from the date on which the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Bill, 2017, replacing the Enemy Property (Amendment and Validation) Fifth Ordinance, 2016, receives the assent of the President. (2) Every order made under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before each House of Parliament.
