Emigration Act, 1983 4. Validity of certificate.- A certificate shall be valid for a period of three years : Provided that a certificate may be issued for a shorter period - If the person to whom it is issued so desires, or if the registering authority, for reasons to be communicated in writing to the applicant for the certificate, considers in any case that the certificate, should be issued for a shorter period.    |
