Child Marriage Restraint Act, 1929 1. Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2[1929]. 3[(2) It extends to the whole of India 4[except the State of Jammu and Kashmir ]; and it applies also to all citizens of India without and beyond India ].5 (3) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1930.    |
