The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 17. APPOINTMENT OF INSPECTORS. – The appropriate Government may appoint inspectors for the purposes of securing compliance with the provisions of this Act and any inspector so appointed shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).    |
