Central Excise Act, 1944 9E. APPLICATION OF SECTION 562 OF THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, 1898, AND OF THE PROBATION OF OFFENDERS ACT, 1958. (1) Nothing contained in section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 47 (5 of 1898), or in the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 (20 of 1958), shall apply to a person convicted of an offence under this Act unless that person is under eighteen years of age. (2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (3) of section 9. 44    |
