Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 64. Penalty for contravention of Sec. 47. – Whoever exports or imports any weight or measure without being registered under this Act shall be punished with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, and, for the second or subsequent offence, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months and also with fine.    |
