Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 61. Penalty for contravention of Sec. 38. – Whoever makes or manufactures any weight or measure without complying with the requirements of Sec. 38 shall be punished with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, and. for the second or subsequent offence with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years and also with fine.    |
