Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 1[3-A. Appointment of Secretary and other staff. - (1) The Central Government shall appoint a Secretary to the Committee who shall, under the control and direction of the Committee, exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed or as may be delegated to him by the Committee.
