Powers of Attorney Act, 1882
1. Short title
This Act may be called the Powers-of-Attorney Act, 1882.
Local extent-It applies to the whole of India 1[except the State of
Jammu and Kashmir ];
Commencement-and it shall come into force on the first day of
May, 1882.
