Power for State Government to modify application of Act to certain inland mechanically propelled vessels.- The State Government may, 4 *** by notification in the Official Gazette, declare that all or any of the provisions of 5[Chapters II, IIA and III] shall not apply in the case of any specified class of 1[mechanically propelled vessels], or shall apply to them with such modifications as may be specified in the notification'    |
