12. Chancellor. (1) The Governor of the State of Haryana shall be the Chancellor of the Haryana Agricultural University and the Governor of the State of Punjab shall be the Chancellor of the Punjab Agricultural University. (2) The Chancellor of a corresponding University shall, by virtue of his office, be the Head of that University and shall, when present, preside at a convocation of that University. (3) The Chancellor of a corresponding University shall have such other powers as are specified in this Act or as may be prescribed.    |
