Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 57. Nomination of candidates (1) Every nomination of a candidate shall be in Form K duly signed by the Candidate and by the proposer and seconder, both of whom shall be persons entitled to vote in the election and shall be forwarded by registered post only, addressed to the Secretary by name so as to reach him on or before the specified date. (2) Every candidate for election shall pay a fee of Rs. 300 which shall not be refundable in any circumstances except as hereinafter provided: PROVIDED that not more than one such payment need be made by any one candidate in respect of his candidate for any one election: PROVIDED FURTHER that in the event of his nomination not being accepted as valid as hereinafter provided, the fee of Rs. 300 paid by him shall be refunded to him in full.    |
