Co-Operative Societies Act 2008 238. Regulations For the purpose of carrying out this Act according to its intent, the Governor in Council may make Regulations— a. defining, enlarging or restricting the meaning of any word used but not defined in this Act; b. requiring the payment of and prescribing the amount of any fee with respect to— c. the filing, examination or copying of any document; or d. any action that the Registrar is required or authorised to take pursuant to this Act; e. prescribing the procedure for appeals to the Registrar; f. prescribing businesses in which societies or any class of societies may not engage without the prior approval of the Registrar; g. exempting any society or class of societies from any provision of this Act; and h. prescribing any other matter or thing required or authorized to be prescribed by this Act.    |
