Companies (Amendment) Act, 2000 137. Amendment of section 283.- In section 283 of the principal Act,- (a) in sub-section (1), in clause (l),- (i) the words "or as a nominee of the managing agent of the company", shall be omitted; (ii) the words "or, as the case may be, the managing agency comes to an end" shall be omitted; (b) in sub-section (2A), for the words "five hundred rupees", the words "five thousand rupees" shall be substituted.    |
