The Collection of Statistics Act, 2008 25. Sanction for prosecution for offence. - No prosecution for an offence committed by any informant shall be instituted except by or with the sanction of the statistics officer, and no prosecution for an offence committed by persons other than informants shall be instituted except by or with the consent of the appropriate Government.    |
