19. Authorised persons and members of the Corps to be public servants. Any person authorised by1[the Central Government] the Controller or the State Government under this Act and every member of the Corps, while functioning as such, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).    |
