7. The Director of Extension Education (1) The Director of Extension Education shall be appointed by the Board on the recommendation of a Selection Committee constituted for the purpose and he shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University. (2) The Director of Extension Education shall hold office for a term of five years and shall be eligible for reappointment: Provided that the Director of Extension Education on attaining the age of sixty years shall cease to hold office as such. (3) The Director of Extension Education shall be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Extension Education Programmes of the University.    |
