Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 48.Penalty for failure to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work.- Where an employer fails to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work under section 46, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees, or with both.    |
