Arms Act, 1959 1. Short title, extent and commencement- (1) This Act may be called the Arms Act, 1959. (2). It extends to the whole of India . (3). It shall come into force on such date [ Note: 1st October, 1962 , vide Notification No. G.S.R. 992, dated 13-7-1962 , see Gazette of India , Pt. II, sec. 3(i ) p. 1092. ] as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.    |
