Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 5 year integrated B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), 1 year LL.M. and 3 year Ph.D. in Law programme at Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, SVKM'S NMIMS University for the academic year 2025-26.

Eligibility:

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - 5 year Integrated Programme:

• The candidate should have passed in the XIIth Standard examination conducted by a recognized Board / University (minimum 50% in examinations).
• NMIMS-LAT Score
• CLAT Score

LL.M. - 1 year Programme:

• The candidate should have passed in the examination conducted by a recognized University leading to award of LL.B. degree (minimum 50% aggregate marks). Candidates who have appeared for the final year examinations may also apply.
• Candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school from recognized University are eligible to apply and register as per UGC guidelines.
• The candidate shall have passed the Common Law Admission Test for LL.M. (CLAT PG) / PGCETL for 2023 with valid score or will have to appear for Entrance test conducted by NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).

Online Registration & Payment of Registration:

• Before filling the online form, please read all the instructions carefully mentioned in the instruction sheet, important dates and also Terms & Condition given in the online application form.
• Online Registration Fee of Rs.2500/- (Please refer online registration for payment details.)
• Registration Fee is non-refundable.

Selection Procedure:

• NMIMS Entrance Test / Common Law Admission Test for LL.M - (CLAT PG) / PGCETL 2025 and Personal Interview.
• NMIMS Entrance Test and Personal Interview shall take place in online mode.
• Please refer important dates for Entrance Test and Personal Interview date on website (www.nmims.edu)

Note: Those candidates who have valid scores in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT PG) / PGCETL are exempted from NMIMS entrance test. Personal Interview will be conducted for all candidates.

Ph. D. in law - 3 & 6 year Programme:

• Master's degree in Law (LLM) or a professional degree declared equivalent to the master's degree in Law (LLM) by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7 - point scale ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority.
• Established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accreditation or assuring quality and standards of educational institute.

Selection Process:

• Entrance Test & personal interview
• The candidate must have qualified written test with qualifying marks as 50% conducted by the SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University. Only entrance test qualified candidate will be called for Personal Interview.

Note: Candidates those who have qualified (with valid period & valid score) in NET / SET / GATE / GPAT / JRF examination of the apex bodies in higher / technical professional education such as UGC, CSIR, ICMR or other equivalent examinations mentioned on the score card, such candidates are exempted from NMIMS entrance test. However, they have to appear for Personal Interview.
