2nd Justice R.C. Lahoti Memorial Moot Court Competition

The School of Law, Manav Rachna University is going to organize the 2nd Justice R.C. Lahoti Memorial Moot Court Competition.

Date: 3rd - 5th April, 2025
Venue: School of Law, Manav Rachna University

Theme:
Deepfake, Machine Learning, Constitutional Law, IPR Laws

Eligibility:

• Only regular students enrolled in a five-year integrated undergraduate law programme or three-year graduate law programme are eligible to register for the competition. No person enrolled in a postgraduate law programme may act as a team member.
• Each team shall consist of two speakers and one researcher. Teams are to notify which members are the respective speakers and researcher through the registration form. No change of speaker to researcher or vice-versa shall be permitted except upon application to the Organizing Committee.
• A team must consist of at least two participants in which case both the members shall be designated as 'Speakers'.
• The request for change should have concrete reasons and the decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final. If need be, the Organizing Committee holds the right to disqualify a team upon finding the reason for change to be unjustifiable or unreasonable.

Rs. 4,000 per team (inclusive of food and accommodation)

• Winners: Rs. 51,000 + Three (3) one-year complimentary subscription to SCC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 24,000 each + Trophy + Medals
• Runner up: Rs. 31,000+ Trophy + Medals
• Best speaker: Rs.10, 000+ Trophy + Medals
• Best memorial: Rs. 10,000+ Trophy + Medals
• Best Researcher: Rs. 10,000+ Trophy + Medals
