Edited Book on "Proximity of Victimization in the Digital Age": Call for Chapters
Papers are invited in the form of Chapters for the forthcoming edited book titled "Proximity of Victimization in the Digital Age".
The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed the nature of victimization, making it more pervasive and immediate. In the digital age, traditional notions of proximity have evolved-victims and perpetrators no longer need to share physical space for harm to occur. Cybercrimes such as online harassment, cyberstalking, identity theft, financial fraud, and digital surveillance highlight how digital proximity can lead to real-world consequences. This call for papers seeks to explore how digital connectivity affects victimization, the psychological and social impact on victims, and the role of law enforcement, policymakers, and technology developers in addressing these issues.
